I would recommend The Vampire Diaries. There you have mysticism, romance, harshness, a great sense of humor of the characters (especially Damon burns), intrigue, drama. All in all, a great series. By the way, do not judge immediately. Watch at least the first season and you won't be able to stop watching this show. And "Teen Wolf" is really no. I didn't like it either.
